Grizzlies Trade Rumors: Following Ja Morant's Season-Ending Injury, Memphis is reportedly eyeing a 23-year-old guard.

After signing Marcus Smart in the offseason to improve their defense, the Memphis Grizzlies were anticipated to be an excellent two-way team.

However, they were forced to go without Ja Morant for the first 25 games, which was a major setback! The squad had a disastrous 6-19 start,

but Morant's comeback inspired optimism, and the team embarked on a four-game winning streak. However, he had shoulder surgery a few days ago and will miss the remainder of the season.

Following his shoulder surgery, the guard sent a heartfelt message to fans. On Instagram, he wrote:

This heartbreaking message has upset many fans, but there is one bright spot: the athletic guard will be available for the 2024-25 season.

Meanwhile, following Marcus Smart's long-term injury, the Memphis Grizzlies are said to be interested in 29-year-old Quentin Grimes. Grimes has been in a funk this season.

He averages 6.8 points per game and has a 38.7% shooting percentage. This represents a decrease from last season, when he averaged 11.3 points per game on 46.8%.

Meanwhile, the Knicks appear to have found their groove after acquiring OG Anunoby and giving Donte DiVincenzo more minutes.
