Korean Skincare Routine: 10 Steps

Makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum are readily removed using an oil-based cleanser (liquid or balm). This starts the Double Cleanse. Koreans prefer oil-based cleansers to makeup removers since they don't dry out skin and balance sebum production.

Water Cleaners

Second step of Double Cleanse: foam/cream cleanser. Gently rub perspiration and grime off using circular strokes. To remove oil-based cleanser residue, use a moderate, moisturizing, low pH water-based cleanser.

Exfoliators

Scorpios are known for their intense emotions, but their complex nature can sometimes be misunderstood by others. Their tendency to guard their feelings can make them appear aloof from others.

After cleansing and exfoliating, use a toner to restore pH, moisturize, and let other products absorb. Use fingertips or cotton pads to pat.

Toners

Essences, the heart of Korean skincare, are watery liquids containing amazing nutrients that rapidly seep into your skin. Pour an essence for your skin type onto your palms and gently pat over your face and neck.

Essences

Whatever your skin issue, a serum, ampoule, or booster with an active ingredient can help. Concentrated compositions with active substances treat acne, wrinkles, redness, big pores, and pigmentation.

Treatments

Korean glass skin can be achieved with a charcoal or green-tea serum face or sheet mask. Yes, you read correctly! Korean skincare relies on face masks to moisturize and nourish skin.

Sheet Mask

The occlusive layer seals in all prior skincare layers, pats gently in the face and neck, and locks in all the great substances.

Moisturizers

Protecting your skin from UV radiation and reducing skin aging requires sunscreen. Daily SPF skin protection is essential.
