Taylor Swift has broken a streaming record by becoming the first artist with five albums, including Lover, Midnights, 1989, reputation, and folklore, each surpassing 7 billion streams on Spotify.

@spotify_data on X (formerly Twitter) shared the news, highlighting Swift's historic achievement, sparking positive reactions from fans celebrating her reign in the music industry.

Despite some negative comments, Swift's record-breaking success continues, with her becoming the first to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify within the first 12 days of 2024.

Swift's Eras Tour has been a monumental success, breaking the Guinness World Record for the highest-grossing tour of all time, with earnings surpassing $1.04 billion and projected to reach close to $5 billion in consumer spending.

Pollstar reported that Swift's tour, spanning from March 2023 to December 2024, outperformed the combined earnings of the next two highest-grossing tours of 2023, featuring Beyoncé and Bruce Springsteen.

Swift's decision to re-record and re-release her albums, following Scooter Braun's acquisition of her former record label, led to her holding the record for the most albums to debut consecutively at No. 1.

In addition to her musical success, Swift's concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, became the highest-grossing domestic concert film in its opening weekend, earning $92 million and surpassing $260 million globally since its release on October 13.
