The Genuine Reason ‘Yellowstone’ Was Not Nominated for Any Golden Globe

However, the cause for its absence this year is rather more convoluted with the following: It did not fulfill the essential prerequisites.  

The minimum amount of program minutes required for each episode of a television series to be considered a qualifying episode is twenty (20).  

However, there is some good news for those who are aficionados of the Yellowstone universe! Two nominations were obtained for the popular prequel, in 1923.  

As we watch the final season of Yellowstone, we will be rooting for them and hoping that they receive the acclaim that they so well deserve. 

While the length of episodes is not an issue, Yellowstone fell short of the minimum total duration of airtime: only one new episode of its fifth season was broadcast in the allotted time period. 

The second half of Season 5 has yet to be released, due to delays caused by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. 

However, that isn’t to say Sheridan’s wider television universe isn’t being represented this awards season.
