We Tried a New Breakfast Item from Starbucks's Winter Menu—Here's What to Order

It's time to retire your holiday-themed Gingerbread Oatmeal Chais and begin the new year with fresh flavors.

Starbucks is welcome winter with a variety of new and familiar beverages, including customer favorites Pistachio Cream Cold Brew and Pistachio Latte.

For the first time, you will be able to order the Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, a plant-based variation on the popular Iced Shaken Espresso.

The menu, which was leaked on Instagram by @markee_devo in November, caused a flurry of comments. "I impatiently wait for pistachios to return every year," one person remarked.

"It's like something to look forward to after the holidays are over." Others expressed dissatisfaction at missing their preferred beverage:

"@starbucks, you're forgetting the most important drink. "RIP, Irish Cream Cold Brew." But the coffee company isn't just offering drinks; they've also added additional food options for a quick breakfast.

Pick up Potato, Cheddar, and Chive Bakes prepared with cage-free eggs, or a Vanilla Bean Custard Danish, which are only available for a limited time.

"When creating the Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes, we wanted to provide customers with a high-protein vegetarian option for their morning," stated Freshta Khosravi, a member of the food development team, in a news release.
